The First Wildlife Releases of 2019

It was release day for a few animals over the weekend. These were the last of our 2018 raccoons, finally going back to the wild. ❤️❤️ Photos courtesy of John Carney.

Another of our weekend releases was this adult turkey vulture. S/he was likely grazed by a vehicle off of Hwy 72 while scavenging but she was recovered and eager to get away from the humans. No gratitude from her! 😉 Thanks Jessica for taking her home!
