NOW OPEN FOR WILDLIFE INTAKE: PRWC’s New Wildlife Hospital Facility

We are pleased to announce that our new Wildlife Hospital is currently open for intake of injured or orphaned native Florida wildlife.

Our Wildlife Education Center and Gift Shop is still located at Ponce de Leon Park in Punta Gorda and opened to the public daily from 11 am to 4 pm for visits and tours. Sick, injured, or orphaned wildlife are no longer admitted at this location.

PUBLIC VISITS & TOURS AVAILABLE!

The PRWC Education Center located at 3400 Ponce de Leon Parkway is now open daily to the public from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.

We do ask that large groups requesting a guided tour call the office at 941-637-3830 to set up a reservation. Click here to learn more

Guests are no longer required to wear facial coverings while touring the facility.

Pet Policy
For the safety and care of our wildlife as well as our visitors, we cannot allow any pets to visit Peace River Wildlife Center. Although we love animals, our wildlife naturally perceive your pet as a predator.

We permit ADA defined service dogs who are task-specific assist trained into our center to comply with ADA laws.

All other animals, including comfort and support animals, are not permitted.
