A Major Milestone for PRWC’s New Education Center
NEW EDUCATION CENTER – 2026
We are excited to share some wonderful news, Peace River Wildlife Center has officially received the building permit for our new Education Center on Henry Street! This milestone brings us one important step closer to expanding our ability to educate, inspire, and connect our community with Florida’s native wildlife.
The new Education Center will provide enhanced learning spaces, improved care for our resident education animals, and greater access for visitors, families, and students. It represents years of planning and the collective support of our donors, volunteers, partners, and advocates who believe in the power of conservation through education.
With permits in hand, we are preparing to move forward with construction and look forward to sharing updates as the project progresses. Thank you for being part of this exciting chapter in PRWC’s future, together, we are building a stronger foundation for wildlife and the people who care about them.
