A Visible Sign of Progress at PRWC’s Future Education Center

Construction continues to move steadily forward at the future home of PRWC’s Education Center, and this week marks an exciting milestone as the new Maintenance & Care Building begins to rise on site. The erection of the structure is another visible step toward bringing this new state-of-the-art education center to life.

The new center is being designed to focus on wildlife education, conservation outreach, and the long-term care of PRWC’s resident, non-releasable animals that help inspire thousands of visitors each year to protect Florida’s native wildlife. The Maintenance & Care Building will serve as an essential support hub for the center, providing space for animal care operations, food and supply storage, equipment, and the behind-the-scenes functions necessary to care for resident wildlife and maintain the educational facility grounds.

PRWC is proud to recognize the Swanberg Family Foundation for their generous support in funding the building and securing naming rights for this important facility. Their investment is helping create a lasting legacy that will support wildlife education and conservation for generations to come.

As construction continues, a variety of naming and sponsorship opportunities throughout the new center are still available for individuals, families, and businesses interested in becoming part of this transformational project.

Watching the framework take shape is an exciting reminder of the progress being made and the incredible community support helping turn this vision into reality. PRWC looks forward to sharing additional construction updates as the new Education Center continues to grow in the months ahead.

If you would like more information on how you can be a part of our new education center, please email me at prwc.ed@prwildlife.org or call me at 941.637.3830.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this project so far, your investment is helping create a space that will educate, inspire, and serve our community for generations to come.
