Community Partnerships Help Wildlife Return Home

At Peace River Wildlife Center, successful wildlife rehabilitation doesn’t end when an animal is ready for release, it begins a new chapter in the wild. Recently, several local organizations and private property owners have generously partnered with PRWC by allowing rehabilitated animals to be released on their properties.

These partnerships are a wonderful example of community collaboration in action. By opening their lands to native wildlife, these supporters are helping create safe opportunities for animals to return to their natural habitats while contributing directly to local conservation efforts.

As PRWC continues to focus on providing exceptional rehabilitation care and preparing for the opening of our new Education Center, these community partnerships play an increasingly important role in our mission. Together, we are creating a network of support that benefits wildlife, strengthens conservation efforts, and demonstrates the power of a community working toward a common goal.

We are grateful to everyone who has stepped forward to help wildlife return home. Their commitment reminds us that wildlife conservation is truly a shared responsibility, and one that makes a lasting difference for the animals in our care.
