Florida continues to grow, and native wildlife is increasingly affected by habitat loss, vehicle strikes, and other human activity. I believe Florida’s wildlife deserves a fair chance to thrive alongside our growing communities.
That is why the work of Peace River Wildlife Center matters to me. PRWC rescues injured and orphaned native wildlife, provides professional rehabilitation whenever possible, and helps our community understand how we can better protect the animals that share our home.
I have a special appreciation for barn owls. Their heart-shaped faces, graceful movements, and beautiful coloring make them unforgettable. They are also a reminder of how much there is to value and protect in Florida’s natural world.
I have chosen to direct gifts made through my page to PRWC’s Capital Campaign for the new Education Center. This expanded outdoor campus will provide more appropriate spaces for the permanent residents in PRWC’s care while creating new opportunities for wildlife education and community outreach.
Your support will help build a place where people can learn about native Florida wildlife, understand the challenges these animals face, and become part of giving them a better chance for the future.
Please join me in helping build the future of Peace River Wildlife Center and creating a lasting home for wildlife education in our community.
