For 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping nonprofits tell stories that matter—stories that inspire, connect, and save lives. But this one? This one is personal. As Board President of Peace River Wildlife Center, I’m not just sharing a mission—I’m standing behind something I’ve believed in since the very beginning. This is more than a place that cares for injured and orphaned wildlife. It’s where people come face-to-face with the beauty of our natural world… and leave changed.
Why do I give? Because animals don’t have a voice—but we do.
Because every life matters.
Because second chances matter.
I’ve dedicated my career to animal welfare, but I also give personally—because it truly means that much to me. Being able to bring my passion and experience back to the community I grew up in, and support an organization that’s been close to my heart for years, is incredibly meaningful.
Now, I’m asking YOU to join me.
We’re on the way to completing our new Education Center on Henry Street in downtown Punta Gorda, with hopes of opening later this year. This support will go a long way toward helping us reach that important milestone and further expand our mission of Rescue, Rehabilitate, Educate.
The momentum is incredible and YOU could be part of it.
Whether $10 or $100 or $1,000, it all adds up. Every single dollar makes a difference.
Let’s come together and ensure these stories—the rescues, the recoveries, the releases—continue.
Be a voice. Be a difference. Give today.
