PRWC Capital Campaign Fundraiser

There are no words to express our sorrow over the passing of Dr. Klein. To say Dr. Klein was extraordinary is an understatement! This exceptional man meant so much to so many people in Charlotte County. His compassion, sensitivity, and kindness was infinite.

We were honored that he wanted to be the capital campaign chair. He had recently attended our groundbreaking ceremony and first fundraiser in late August. Everyone at PRWC is truly saddened. We send our heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends.

PRWC has made great strides with plans for development of a new education center to be built on Henry Street in downtown Punta Gorda. Our capital campaign will cover the additional costs needed to construct our state-of-the-art facility. The new campaign includes additional naming and sponsorship opportunities within the center and our new education building. Habitat sponsorships are still available and are listed below.

Robin Jenkins, DVM, David Klein, MD and Luna.

Dr. David Klein, ophthalmologist has joined PRWC as our capital campaign chairperson. Dr. Klein has served on more than 40 committees for both professional and nonprofit organizations. He has been involved with PRWC since 1979.

You can also be a part of this project through a brick donation. You will leave a lasting legacy for at least the next 100 years with an engraved brick at the education center.
