Group Tours & Outreach:

Group Tours & Outreach ProgramsOn-site Group Tours

The PRWC is open daily for public tours from 11am – 4pm. Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated. You do not have to make tour guide reservations for family visits or small groups.

If you are a class or large group party that would like to visit, we ask that you reserve your date and time by scheduling a tour in advance by calling 941-637-3830 or click here to make an online request. This will allow us to set up the proper tour guides for your group that will meet your needs so that we can meet your expectations. We want your visit to be a pleasant, educational and unforgettable experience.

These services are provided by volunteer staff and offered for free. Donations are suggested and greatly appreciated as this will provide needed medical care and food for our wild animal patients and residents. After your visit, please share your experience with your friends and invite them to visit too. You can do so by clicking here.

Group Tours & Outreach ProgramsOff-site Outreach Programs

Peace River Wildlife Center’s outreach program is intended to educate the public about Florida native wildlife and is suitable for both children and adults. Our programs are offered to private groups, school classrooms and church groups. We also participate at many off-site public events and festivals. Our programs are conducted by our professional educational speakers and trained wild animal handlers. These programs feature our Educational Ambassador animals which may include Luna, Bella, Orion and/or Blossom (depending on availability).

Please keep in mind that all of our educational animals are Native Wildlife and are not to be touched or handled other than by the handler. However, you will get to see them up close and be able to take great pictures.

Please contact us at 941-637-3830 for more details or click here to make your reservation. These services are provided by volunteer staff and offered for free. Donations are suggested and greatly appreciated as this will provide needed medical care and food for our wild animal patients and residents and will help us continue to provide these educational wildlife programs.
